Are You At Risk If You Dont Have An Internet Security Program, But You Go To A Secure Site To Put In Ur Ssn?

can a hacker hack your info???
and what are free internet security programs to protect you online???
I am just curious because I’m a senior ready to apply to college but in order to do so I must enter my ssn online.

    even if you install the best spyware and antivirus software, it cannot protect you from YOU. DO NOT enter your social security number anywhere on the internet. ESPECIALLY over wifi. even if you are using WEP or WPA security on your wifi there are ways to intercept your information.
