Can Resetting The Security Passlock Issue Kill The Engine Computer?
My 03 grand am had been a PITA since I bought it 4 years ago. The security light would kick on and the car wouldn’t start.. I went online and did the 10 -20 minutes reset every time it wouldn’t start.
My question is, can resetting the security light over 4 years kill the engine computer? what else could go wrong by resetting like that….
is PITA same as POS? lol my 99 s 10 chevy security thing went off and my mechanic had to clear computer 3 times before it would start…he finally disconected it and put black tape over the light LOL…no easy answer i fear,,,gd luk
