gmail is not safe.
for example, if you work for a company. people may even can not find out the login page.
but for gmail, everyone knows where to login, and if the length of your
password is 8. some hacker softwares can find it out very quickly
and gmail doesn’t ban people continue to login after enter a number of wrong passwords.

  G Mail is a subsidiary of Google. All I can tell you is that some Universitites have decided not to use google anymore because of security reasons, (USU) for one. Nothing regarding e-mail is totally safe because the all mighty buck is the bottom line.
