There is a soulution. However, depending on what type of financial services company you have, you might find it difficult for any processor to set you up.
There is a company that will allow you to accept credit cards as an individual as long as you are a sole proprietor.http://www.omnitranz.com

Another option is a QuickBooks merchant account. They cost money, though. But PayPal is probably the best free alternative.
