How Do I Change The Security Settings On My Router?

Posted by Conversion Expert | Online Security | Sunday 15 November 2009 5:54 am

I want to connect my Nintendo DS to my SMCWBR14G-T Wi-Fi router without a USB adaptor because the router uses a wpa security key which is not supported on my DS for online gaming so can someone please tell me how to change it without connecting via cable?

You will have to login to the router home page using your computer (http://192.168.2.1 or 192.168.2.2) You can do it wirelessly to make changes.
You will have to know the basic admin password to access the router settings and make changes to them.
Once on the router main menu, go to Wireless / Wireless Security, and you can change the WPA security settings for that router and your local network.
