How Do I Confirm My Uk Address On Paypal?

I’ve just bought something and the seller says they won’t post it to an uncomfirmed address. But I just found this on the PayPal website: ‘Gift recipient addresses and addresses associated with a Switch/Maestro or Solo debit card cannot be confirmed. Currently, our system cannot verify most non-US credit card billing addresses.’ I have a debit card or could borrow my dad’s credit card, but apparently that still won’t work!!!
