How Do I Eliminate Bogus Security Problem That Keeps Popping Up On My Icons On The Bottom Of My Screen? ?
Norton security online tells me this has been blocked and is not a problem but it is extremely annoying

Free and good, do a full system scan.
Internet security companies have a vested interest in using scare tactics and giving you false positives so you contact them and they want 100 bucks to tell you how to remove this so called threat. You can stop this from bugging you by canceling norton! Go with paid versions of Avast or AVG. To rid your self of these security warning simply click >start>run and type in MSCONFIG now click on the services tab and check the box that says “hide all microsoft services” next see if this popup bugger is listed there, if so, uncheck the box and hit apply, next click on the startup tab, again look for this poppper and uncheck the box and click apply. Hit ok and restart your PC. It will no longer run, this is still on your pc however, if you want help to delete it from your windows registry you must write down the location and name of the file while you are in the services tab. I can help you delete it but must know the location of the file first.
the is only one way to get rid of it a 100 percent and that with five different programs

1st uninstall your anti virus befor you install avg or advast antivirus from shannonsidecomputers site, as you cant have other antiviruses working with them. best of luck in fixing your computer

Go to control panel and click on security center and click on change the way security center alerts me .and take the checkmarks off all three items.
