How Do I Unable Network Security?

i have a netgear thing and i can’t get my laptop online because it says that the network has security enabled. i dont know any terms like LAN and WAN or whatever nor do i know how to get there. i just need to know how to make it so it’s not enabled. i was looking up this question on on here and all the explanations were things that i didn’t know. so if you could help me please do. just please explain what things are.
