How Do You Prefer To Shop Online?

(I’m new to shopping online, but since specific items are getting harder and harder to find in-store, I thought I’d give it a try.)
Do you like to use auction sites like ebay and amazon, or do you buy directly from a certain store’s website? Do you use Paypal or some other service for security and convenience? What would you recommend?
