I Need To Make A Login So People Can View Their Photos From My Photographer’s Website. What’s The Best Way?

Not an administrator login, but one that only accesses the member’s images by verifying their cookie and taking them to “my pictures”. I’m only a little concerned about security, so…medium level? I rad about PHP, but I don’t know how to implement the code to my website. I read javascript fluently. Any ideas? maybe even direct me to a website?
