I Started Working Online And Have To Take Out My Own Taxes. What Percent Should I Hold Back For Taxes?

I need to know how much taxes to withhold annually for the state of Kentucky. This should include federal and social security plus state tax. Someone told me to with-hold 30% but that seems a bit much.

  28% fed, 3% state and about 7% for SS
