    No it does not have to be registered anywhere or with a solicitor.
    It has to be witnessed though.
    It would always be best to ensure that it was all done in front of a solicitor and that a copy was lodged with them though to save all the potential hassle later.

    no it does not have to be, i always advise to lodge the will in the probate registry for safe keeping, some solicitors keep them.
