“melia Cayo Santa Maria”, Can Anyone Verify: Do I Need A Power Adaptor?

I am heading here next week, and I have read reviews that lean both ways on this… one even said it has to be a European Adaptor…. does anyone know for sure? The website is NOT helpful on this subject… THANKS!

  If you are not sure get one. Was stuck in St. Lucia without one, it was 3 times a much. The hotels vary sometimes too, again in St. Lucia one hotel had a US plug in every room, the hotel we were at did not. Radio shack has good ones for about 15 bucks.
  PS be sure if you need to run a heated item (hair dryer) to get an adapter for heat. They are differne AMPs.
