What Is The Pro Amnesties Position On Making & Selling Counterfeit Identity Documents To Illegals ?

A Mexican national was arrested Tuesday for producing and selling illegal immigration documents.
Pedro Altatenco-Luna was charged by the United States Attorney for the District of Delaware. He remains in federal custody.
Altatenco-Luna, 33, first became known to Delaware State Police after a suspicious package was discovered during a random inspection of a mail carrier by narcotics officers where police found 200 suspected fraudulent green cards. Inside the same package police found homeland security laminates with official seal and laminates for Mexican drivers licenses.
Wilmington Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers were contacted and both agencies searched a location in New Castle. Further evidence,officials said, was recovered included equipment used to produce fake identification documents, 1,000 document laminates, resident alien cards, social security cards and drivers licenses from Mexico, Ohio and Pennsylvania.
“Making and selling counterfeit identity documents such as fake alien resident cards and social security cards help illegal immigrants aliens, criminals and even terrorists evade detection and embed themselves in our society,” said John P. Kelleghan special agent in charge of ICE’s Office of Investigation in Philadelphia. “This case started with the Delaware State Police and is an excellent example of state and federal cooperation.”
Investigators also recovered typewriters, printers, cameras, computers, scanners and other document producing material.
“The Northern Delaware Drug Task Force, which is comprised of DSP and the New Castle County Police, worked proactively with the Immigration and Customs Enforcement to seize hundreds of illegal documents that would have infiltrated our society,” said Colonel Thomas F. Mac Leish, Superintendent Delaware State Police.
