and is there A website that shows what assistance or assistance programs are available for a disabled person in Houston, Texas, such as bill assistance, and assistance, if any, to get a car??

    As far as bill assistance and money for a car, ss disability will not give u a check for that amount.. I get it and I barely have enough to cover my basic bills.. buy a car.. LOL… the raise was 3.3% increase from last year but u would have gotten a letter telling u how much it was going to be.. There are a LOT of services for disabled.. DHS has food stamps, medical, and even pay for you to go back to college. then there is Sect. 8/HuD /low income housing that u would qualify for.. That is thru the Housing and Urban Dev. in Houston.. GL
